Problem Solution

The problem is the increase in fires in the waste collection industry. This is caused by the increase in battery usage and packaging.
The main issue tho is the way all waste is still collected which is the 1960s dumping system.
It Began in 1950 with the invention of the binbag. Since then for 75 years it has reached every corner of the planet and increase in sales year on year. The problem isn't actually the battery its the system.
The whole system is based around the binbag. Wheelie bins weren't invented for waste but adapted. Adding more plastic , more weight, more pollution.
That meant the public has only known dumping waste.
The increase in packaging because of Internet buying amongst other reasons. Meant one plastic bin wasn't enough. Then they became colour coded. All the time increasing Co2 , Weight and plastic pollution. It doesn't stop until its stopped. Which is the slogan of the solution, enter Eco nets. The missing link to the circular economy.

Impact

Eco Nets eleminates the industrial century. It eliminates the need for single-use or any plastic binbag the key to the change. Eleminating the cause , which is every type of binbag. Biodegradable, Reusable are all false and worse for the environment. Small ones are the most deadly because of the volume of use.
This is the no.1 cause of plastic pollution and a major cause of climate change.
It took 75 years to control waste , I believe its possible to eradicate it completely in the next 10 years by introducing Eco nets . There are many designs, many applications because its material using textile waste / natural fibres and technology fibres. This has far more versatility than binbags and plastic bins . It opens up new technologies and new systems , using sustainable, circular economy practices. Netting is one of mankind's oldest tools unlike bins and bags.
Its not possible to change a system built over many years instantly.
With Ai technology and Eco nets it can speed up the change so all waste is seperated at source in a clean clear visible form.
Changing behaviour instantly by visibility and becoming quickly habitual.
To start with to introduce the public to the perils of putting batteries, vapes etc in the bin . We have a small Eco Nets purse like design which can be mass produced. This is a marketing tool also for the waste companies to give to customers for batteries collection. They give them back to the waste companies when full.
Unless a change in the collection system happens and eleminate binbags wheelie bins and the big trucks which won't be necessary in the Eco Nets system. I cannot see any realistic way to stop batteries entering the waste system.
The problem isn't the battery that's a sign of the times and will increase. The problem is the waste collection system needs to change and catch up with this era . Out with CO2 based in with manual based. Stitching Eco nets and collecting daily , with Apps and Ai technologies.

Business Model

Eco Nets is an innovation/ invention.
Its an invention which is needed in this time and it fits perfectly with every movement in plastic pollution.
Its the beginning of a new era. Packaging and all waste resources are easier to control when separated ar source.
Eco nets is the products names.
I plan to register two companies in Australia if Eco Nets is funded . One of the companies is for the technology Apps. This is a teamwork effort for Australia. It means I'm quite prepared to set up a team in Australia and happily be based there.
The other company is for Eco Nets franchise, which incorporates the manufacturer of various forms of netting to make Eco Nets designs .
With true inventions the ROI is very high to begin with due to its unique abilities.
Eco Nets is about manpower not machine power. Taking heavy machinery, Co2 out of the collection process. It then becomes more efficient.

Market Readiness

Market Readiness

Technology Readiness Level (TRL):

Eco Nets currently sit at TRL 7–8.

TRL 7: Prototype demonstrated in an operational environment (e.g., stadiums, festivals, hospitality trials).

TRL 8: System complete and qualified through test and demonstration.
We have operational data from controlled environments and are now scaling into live environments with real users.

---

Piloted So Far:

Small-scale trials at festivals, hotels, and food venues in the UK.

Operational mock-ups created for stadiums and public waste areas.

Lifecycle testing of net durability, hygiene, and weight capacity.

Early-stage integration with the Sustu app for waste tracking and pick-up notifications.

---

Remaining Testing and Piloting:

Expanded pilots in high-volume environments (e.g., full stadiums, busy councils, or city-centre streets).

Data capture on user behavior, contamination rates, and maintenance cycles.

Software refinement of the Sustu app for multi-bin tracking and notification alerts.

Feedback loop from waste contractors on compaction, collection logistics, and compatibility with existing fleet infrastructure.

---

Anticipated Timeframes:

Phase Estimated Duration

Notice required to prepare a pilot 4–6 weeks

Team

Team Experience in Commercial Delivery and Project Execution

R-Net Innovation Ltd, founded by Stuart Perry in 2019, has a proven track record in sustainable product development and real-world project delivery. Our team combines deep expertise in environmental design, waste management systems, textile innovation, and international operations.

Key Team Strengths:

Founder Experience: Stuart Perry has over 35 years of international experience managing large-scale operations, including opening casinos in six countries and training over 300 staff. He brings a commercial mindset, systems thinking, and operational excellence to all projects.

Product R&D and Prototyping: Since 2019, we have developed and refined Eco Nets as a commercially viable, reusable alternative to bin bags. This included extensive field research, material testing (biological fibres, jute, technical mesh), and design iterations based on feedback from councils, stadiums, and event organizers.

Pilot and Market Testing:

Pilots run across hospitality (pubs/hotels), festivals, and public sector trials (litter-picking crews, university campuses).

Live cost comparison studies conducted with stadiums (60,000+ seats) and waste contractors to assess real-time ROI and CO₂ savings.

We’ve collaborated with engineers, material scientists, and sustainability consultants across Europe and Asia.

Infrastructure & Delivery:

Established logistics workflows for supply, wash, repair, and reuse of Eco Nets as part of a circular economy.

Built commercial models including B2B sales, rental/hire programs, and subscription plans integrated with the upcoming Sustu app for waste tracking and incentive management.

Strategic Partnerships:

Active outreach and co-development with major waste companies, DRS system integrators, and sustainability-driven brands.

We’ve developed sponsorship frameworks and commercial incentives tailored to events, councils, and large venues.

Our team is commercially minded, delivery focused, and sustainability driven. We operate lean, adapt quickly, and have consistently moved from concept to execution with clarity, accountability, and innovation.
